80072EFD Ive tried everything. Still wont update

0x80072EFD -2147012867 ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT

I've:

added update websites to the firewall list
added update websites to the hosts file
tried to reinstall SP1
Hijack This
Ad-Aware
Spybot
gave all the wu*.* files full control with my admin account
tried the "super secret" admin account Net server thing
did everything the knowledge base said (support.microsoft.com) about 80072EFD

i am stuck..
