Color management is a new feature of Windows Vista... I found this article about it on the web..
Canon, Microsoft to Jointly Develop Color Management System for Windows Vista
Tokyo, Sept 15, 2005 (JCN) - Canon announced on September 14 that it and Microsoft have formed a strategic alliance in color management systems for Windows Vista, Microsoft's next-genration operating system.
A new color management system that will be featured in Windows Vista, Windows Color System was developed based on Kyuanos, Canon's proprietary next-generation color management technology. Kyuanos provides an improved user experience though the use of a centralized color control panel and easy-to-use monitor calibration wizard.
Windows Color System takes advantage of the capability of today's powerful color devices such as digital cameras and color printers, featuring better screen-to-print matching, color appearance and greater fidelity and predictability.
Anyway, Color Management is also in the control panel..
.
The first tab shows the various display devices hooked up to the system...

Apparently there are different profiles you can create and add on your system.

Color settings are saved separately for each user... You can make changes to these defaults on the advanced tab...
