After virtually ignoring Internet Explorer (IE) for several years, Microsoft unexpectedly revealed in February 2005 that it would ship a new IE version, IE 7, for Windows XP users.
Now, Microsoft has released the standalone version of IE 7.
The browser is demonstrably better than its predecessor, and with few reservations, I think all Windows users should install IE 7 as soon as possible.
And that's true for dedicated IE users as well as those who have moved on to alternative browsers.
