Act Enterprise is a joke!

Pretty simple actually...run a virtual desktop session dedicated to 32bit apps. Unfortunatly we have Act and a few other piece of crap software packages that we are forced to use 32bit desktops and servers on. Sucks!

ACT...bogus for 2008

Just had the same experiance as you two. I assumed that any product for 2 qtr of 2008 would be Vista 64 compatable...I was wrong. I did however manage to install it in a Virtual PC running XP Pro. We'll see how that goes

You are so right man, what the hell is a software company developing CRM solutions doing, not developing a 64 bit versions, or even a patch. I mean these guys should be creaming it in sales, they can't say they don't have the money, and they can say they didn't have time to implement a 64 bit version. If my Cheap and nasty scanner has a 64 bit driver version of its software then cummon!! Sage. Anyway spoke with a Technical support rep and he assumes the next release will have 64 bit support, which is in September, so fingers crossed. Does anyone know of any other CRM Solutions like ACT who are 64 bit compatible??
