Bad Experience

by Chad
(Irvine, CA)

I have Windows Vista Home Premium and downloaded the service pack yesturday, it took me about 3 hours. Mind you i have a fast computer.

It did keep me well informed about where it was progress wise (Stage 1 of 3 34% Completed) But when it was all finished my audio input was, according to Microsoft "unplugged" so that took me about 30 good minutes of working to finally get my sound back.

Then the worst part came. My internet connection was unplugged and i didnt know how to get that working properly again.

It took me 1 trip to the Best Buy Service Center and then it even took them 3 hours to fix it. Overall i would have to say that Windows Service Pack 1 was a complete disaster.

I have noticed 0% improvment with my firewall settings and my bandwith slowed. My internet connection was completely rearranged and it was a waist of a good day of my life.

I would suggest you don't download it. It really does nothing to your computer. I hope this helped.

Sincerely,
An Unsatisfied Downloader
