Dell 1535 laptops and vista 64-bit don't work together

I had the exact same problem with (2) dell 1535 laptops in 2 weeks. Computers were fine until a MS update occurred. After that, they won't boot anymore. Kept getting 0x000000D1 drive error blue screen. Both computers went back to Best Buy. Not buying another 64-bit vista computer.
