"How many consumers out there will likely even have 4 gigabytes of memory in a computer system even in the next two years?"

I installed 4 gig memory 6 months ago.....most gamers I know have done the same. With 32bit, 4 gig ram and a high powered graphics card, the 4 Gigs is barely enough to do the job. The 32 bit system calls for between 256 and 1 gig of systems memory to be reserved for the graphics card.
