Civ IV: Beyond the Sword not for Vista
SUPPORTED OPERATING SYSTEMS:
Windows 2000 (plus Service Pack 1 or higher), Windows XP (Home or Professional) (plus Service Pack 1 or higher)
This is off of the Civ IV: Beyond the Sword official website. As you can see it does not include Windows Vista (though it still may work for it, who knows?)
