Windows Vista Update

The computer was doing a windows update it was not finished I accidentally hit the mouse.

The computer went black. I shut it off it will not come back on.

I get the option of using a Windows restore disk which I don't have or restarting which I chose. It will run a list then stop with the error code !!oxc0190036!!1476/688.51(tzenbed.d77)

I did try a fix it disc which i was able to run and i think, install on the computer but when i shut down and come back on same thing.

I will not go past the error code screen

Any ideas of what to do?
