fix for fallout 3 crashes on 64bit processors
by: Anonymous

Check Bethesda's site - seach there for vista 64. You add two lines to the fall.ini file [the one in the My Docs, not in the game folder] that cripple the higher two processors, but allow the game to run without crashing.

yea, I also got the same problem... when I was playing, it used to be running just fine.
after a 2 days of playing it star crashing and become more frequently.
I've tried to re-install the game but it doesn't help.
I've also done all what ppl suggested: install new codec for the media player, disable some other services, stop background services, install new vedio card driver....everything...
but it just doesnt help.
my fallout3 is now completely un-playable.
start the game after a min. and windows vista will tell me it's stop working... force me to stop the program.
