i like 64 bit because when heavily multi tasking windows 64 bit does not crash.
even with 4 gig xp stil crashed. same computer with vista 64 bit and does not crash.
it has some thing to do with ram allocation size and how the applications function with the ram. windows divides ram into 2 parts
1) for the os.
2) for applications.
crashing has nothing to do with the physical ram. the crash is when applications request too much ram internally on xp 32 bit windows.
the 64 bit windows handles the ram in a much better way and does not crash.
