Hello, i for one love the new interface, and some of the capabilities That vista has to offer.
I am a system builder on my spare time, so i was interested in vista since it has come out.
Within the last week, i have pretty much built a massive system and installed Vista Ultimate x64 on it.
At first it ran great and so far all the drivers seem to work well with it. But, after much use, it has it's snags and glitches.
But, this was expected. I will now familiarize myself with Vista so when someone calls for help, i would like to at least know what and how to help them. Some programs that i loved or liked in XP still don't work, at least until the vendors make them in 64 bit.
I am going to make a Dual Boot drive for this reason. Otherwise, again Vista has it's problems still, but i like it.
Although i am still considering buying a few more copies of XP for the other computers i plan on adding to my network, it would be interesting to see if the SP-1 for Vista will work out some of the bugs, if it does.....I'm sold and will recommend it to others that currently have XP.
