modem cannot detect

i newly bought a laptop with windows vista premium 64 bit.

Recently i bought P1wimax wiggy usb modem,after i install da P1wimax modem a error appear says that modem cannot detect.

I just want to know the windows vista 64 bit problem or my modem.bt im very sure dat the modem is in gud condition because the usb modem works with ma desktop pc.TQ
