I have purchases a AV LABS 58 in 1 card reader which reads the SD cards and relays that info to the computer. Problem solved. But it is silly that in so called updating to Vista software so many of us are actually going backward. The multi card reader takes the place of the camara which as I have several and was used to just pulling the SD card and slipping it into the XP loaded computer. And straight up in business. Vista has annoyed me. Thanks all.
