I just bought my Compaq Presario C745EE with Vista Home 32 bit OS and I found out that I can not use my Yahoo Messenger to talk to my friends and relatives in the Conference Option, there is this PROMPT VOICE ERROR...THIS COMPUTER DOES NOT SUPPORT THE REQUIRED AUDIO COMPRESSION FORMAT...ohhh it is so disgusting!!! My friends advice me to change my OS to XP but I found out that it is very hard to change because Compaq does not recommend XP in my Laptop...this more disgusting either...can you pls help...I need my Yahoo Messenger Conference option because this is the only way I know to communicate with my love ones in the Philippines.

Just download and install this. Restart/join Yahoo! Messenger voice conference and it should be working

TO resolve teh issue you can download codec. Download DivX player it will automatically download the codec
