My first experince using windows vista home prem. with SP1 is when I bought my first dell laptop. At first when I orderd it I wanted it with windows XP because i am used to it becauce I have it on my desktop.
But when I found out it was not an option I was going to order it anyway and I was just going to reformat the hard drive to XP.
I was't to happy with the idea of using vista because of the stories that I heard about vista when it first came out. It fried ipods and alot of programs did not with vista.
But when i got my laptop and saw that microsoft came out with a service pack to fix all the bugs i decided to play around with it.
It did't kill my ipod, my printer becomes a pnp device(don't have to download the drivers, unlike XP)and the windows media center is great.
So I decided to keep it and know i want to upgrade my desktop to vista.
I find vista just as easy to use like XP and it has a lot more toys to play around with. I give microsoft two thumbs up.
