Myst: masterpiece

Got the game to install perfectlly, sound is amazing, the introduction is brill but the game has no PICTURE!!!!

It worked on a friends laptop, also with vista.
have tried changing the compatability mode to windows 98/ME and still won't work.

the rest of the series works fine except this one game!!!

whats wrong, is it the game or vista?!
