After installing the latest automatic update on Windows Vista (the ones that install before shutdown), my Toshiba Laptop won't recognize its own built-in speakers.
I've gone to Control Panel and can't find any way to fix the problem... My computer is a Toshiba Satellite A215 Series.
The microphone is functioning just fine, but the speakers aren't working at all--they don't even show up under Audio Playback Devices under Control Panel.
If anyone has any idea what I can do to fix this, please send me an email at marblesodas@aol.com.
Is anyone having this same problem with their laptops? Everything else seems to be fine, except for the speakers.
Thanks,
Caroline
