This is exactly what happen to my on my dell 1501 laptop. After uninstalling sp1 I can view webpages again. I tried this twice.

Same problem here... almost. After installing SP1 the webbrowser stops working, that is no pages can be viewed. Everything else works just fine (skype and so on). I still get the correct DNS adresses from router (DHCP-server). It also seems that there is something strange going on with the NICs as they (there are 2 installed - onboard) as they can't be uninstalled (press uninstall and nothing happens).
