Vista does not need high system specs! My computer is living proof of it! It is running Vista Home Premium (with Areo interface on) and its specs are only: an AMD Sempron 3200+, 2GB of DDR2 RAM (dual channel), 80GB HDD, Built in nVidia GeForce 6100 Graphics. It boots up in 1 minute and logs in with all the applications running in another minute! Also, i have ALOT of applications that needs to be run during login like Norton Security Online 2007 (VERY resource hungry), HP digital monitor, MSN messenger, sidebar, and ALOT more background apps.
