I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING TO GET HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM: RTCW WORKED FINE ON MY WINDOWS VISTA UNTIL A SVC PACK UPGRADE CAME ALONG IN LATE FALL. I NEEDED TO DE-INSTALL RTCW AND RE-INSTALL AND NOW IT WILL NOT OPEN. NO MATTER WHAT I TRY TO DO. EVEN TRIED TO RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR AND ALSO USING A COMPATIBILITY MODE TO FOOL THE PROGRAM IN THINKING IT WAS RUNNING ON A DIFFERENT O.S.
ACTIVISION WAS OF NO HELP WHATSOEVER ...THEY SIMPLY SAID RTCW WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR VISTA. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH HOW TO GET IT TO RUN ON MY VISTA O.S. THANKS VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE. JPM
