Windows Vista Update

I bought Toshiba Satellite L300D -119 about a week ago, and it has been working perfectly. Until the day before yesterday. Vista in it have some kind of problem.

Windows Explorer just shuts and opens itself and the block in the down of the screen disappears.
I have installed a couple of software (msn, winrar), so are they making this problem? Or is this just a feature of Vista?
Just asking a solve to this problem, because it really hits me. And hard.
