The Future is Now

Thanks For the Stimulus Checks George

Thanks For the Stimulus Checks George

I am running Vista X64 on a Gateway w/AMD 9600 Quad Phenoms and ATI Radeon HD3870 GPU.

After 4 months I can say that It is fast, stable and with great visuals. As per the article, I do have 4GB RAM and I think that is key to running Vista X64 sucessfully. I have my old XP disc at the ready to switch back but it seems very unlikely.

Running Techlands' DX10 demo and benchmark Call of Juarez has me convinved I have a really good system (at only $825 w/o monitor!). I just started the retail version of COJ and am stunned by the graphics and play.

I am vigilant about installing the latest drivers and have very few programs that have not caught up to Vista X-64... as it should be since Vista has been out for a quite a while now.

(So wake UP ClickNDesign/CD Stomper (AveryDennison) time to upgrade)

The future for X64 looks even better.

Yer Pal,
Korki Buchek
