Windows Vista Update

I cant update windows vista because I`m having a BIG problem after I Update it to SP1
the system starts weirdly to slowing down each time I boot it
and then after 1 week ..

I usually log in to the system but every time I see a Huge pointer with vista Background
but with no desktop -side bar - or even task bar
and the right bottom of the mouse is not working.


every thing in this system is not working.
until I stopped the update
