Windows Vista Update

Vista and Laptop problems..

Basically, I feel screwed.

I have been patiently trying to get behind windows vista only to have problems as it seems other people are too.

It seems after all the time microsoft had to get this operating system right has ended up with bugs.

When one works hard all day driving a truck and don't want to have to try and fix things on my brand new Toshiba P205-7482 with a HD-DVD drive that I now know will not play the latest dvd's in blu ray.

Apart from having to buy windows xp if I want to downgrade as I have just come to find out from Toshiba is the attitude from people who deal with tech support on this issue.

People really just don't know what they are talking about. People cannot just settle issues with your pc without saying the evil words of restoring your pc from scratch.

Nobody seems to care how long it takes to download all the software you like to use with windows vista.

That may or may not cause problems.

Overall, for backing up their operating system to allow users to downgrade back to XP I give Toshiba and Microsoft a solid F for failure.
