I had a similiar problem, first i had the blue screen of death come up which crashed my computer! Then I had to go back and restore my system and reinstall everything. After reinstallation, everything was there except the drivers for my wireless card. When you go to the device manager in your computer can you see your wireless adapter? Mine was missing! If not, you might want to try reinstalling the netword adapter driver.
