Vista Home Premium and Memory Stick

I have Vista Home Premium, but I cannot get my Memory Stick read (Data Traveler 4 GB Kingston DTI/4 GB).
Why is that? XP reads immediately.
I get a Message: Windows couldn't install The Program Data Traveler 2.0
