Vista media center freezes

When I try to burn a DVD of a recorded TV in Media Center it freezes.
I have a HP 6150 with plenty of ram. I up graded to 650w power supply and GForce 8800GT vidio card.
Is there a compatibility issue with the vidio card and MC? Everything elease seems to work fine.
