Vista seems to be crashing my Excel files at random

Here is a problem I've been experiencing every time I either open, or close an excel file or if I do happen to get to open one of my files, then it occurs as I move from one UserForm to another or from a UserForm to a spreadsheet.

Here is what is happening :

The excel program stops working, and the following error message pops up :

"Microsoft Office Excel has stopped working"

I click "Close the Program" and I get the following message :

"Windows can try to recover your program"

I click "Close the Program"

I get the following message :

"Microsoft Office Excel is trying to recover your information"

It never succeeds in finding anything and the file just gets closed automatically. I lose anything not saved to that point, and sometimes things that had been saved are wiped, and some of the VB code behind the Userforms and controls disappear.

I've only experienced these issues since we got the new computers at work with Vista. I have read that if we disable the "Send to Bluetooth" plugin the problem is resolved, but we do not have that plugin, so I am still unsure where to turn with this.

I have read a large number of discussions on this very problem via various Excel Internet Forum discussion sites.

Can you please advise.
