I recieve this error when I first got my new HP and had to call HP it turn out I didn't know I did it but ran a register cleaner not realizing I did it. Any ways do not clean your register it gives you this error in order to fix it I had to Autherize them to get into my computer to reinstall the register but go to Vista Tec page if I remember could be Code page,right put in the error code it will send you to another page with how to or what needs to be done to fix it they have a page just for Codes and fixes. I didn't know this as mind happen within two weeks of having my new computer and Hp said that was the place to go for the answer it might send you to other page as the tec did go to a few page while he was in my computer. Now they cannot get into your computer endless you allow them there and it is while you are watching them so once it is done you would have to authorize them again to get into it. Vista has this as a safe guard thing he told me and to save you heart aces in taking it to shop and no they did not go and look at anything but what needed to be looked at I also was on the phone with him at the same time. just so you know. but go to Vista tec page then code error page put that code in will list a number of things to check or might need there.
