Vista updates for Outlook 2007

A few months ago I purchased Office 2007 and when using Outlook, I experienced SIGNIFICANT slower speeds and many problems.
I did further research, and I found out that I was not alone.
Have there been updates to solve these problems yet? and if so, where do I download them.
I have been using Windows Mail and Windows calendar on my computer, but I really would like to use Outlook 2007.
Please let me know what I can do. Thanks!
