SSD is the new HDD
by: Cov

Bpy, I can't wait until SSD becomes the new standard.
Since computer history, so much has changed.
Think alone about the generations of CPUs.
The role of the GPU has been invented from scratch at one point.

But the HDD has improved in size and transfer speed but the system, spinning platters, was always the same.

Now we're getting closer to a completely new generation of HDDs --> called SSDs.

If you read the advantages of SSD over HDD, you want to exchange your old HDD now, NOW !
And if you look back how thing developed in computer hardware, then you know exactly what's gonna happen: the prices will come down and the capacities will go up.

I'm just waiting for the new SanDisk G3 SSD drives to come out: http://www.driveyourlaptop.com/products/sandisk-ssd-g3-

... and then, wham bam - thank you m'am !
