Toshiba Satellite A135-S2426 vista, after 6 months and over 10 complete crashed vista, I decided to give one last try using Vlite, and am kinda impressed.
It has not crashed fully in 2 months now.
Going to XP is not n option, as most drivers are not supported unless you do hours of searching ? and then hours more work to actually GET the XP validated, over phone or email its just to much stress.
A warning should be given with any Toshiba laptop that you cannot use any other O/S ..
Dual booting Fedora 9.. and vista lite now have my laptop working good .
I do find that using Vista makes the laptop about 30% slower, and I am restricted in the amount of programs I can run.
If it was not for school work I would trash the vista complete and never go back.
Toshiba and Windows will never C another single cent from me ever again, and I would consider throwing my hard earned Dollar's down the drain to avoid the headache, before I would even touch either product again, and as for selling the Laptop from 07 its value has dropped by over 50% and it is in almost new condition as vista never let me have any uptime until I fixed it myself.
Toshiba support stinks and Vista I will not go there it is even worse.
