Windows Vista Update

when i import music into itunes, windows vista can no longer read the dvd/cd player, I have vista 32 bit, help?

I bought this vista piece of junk a few months ago and every time i try to import music into itunes, windows vista can no longer find the dvd/cd player.

I have to then call tech support and delete some filtes with a code 10.

My machine is 32bit vista and i haven't found a fix on any sight but there is one for the 64 bit, can anyone help?
