I too get DAILY IMPORTANT updates, which require restarting (thus I have to double-start my PC DAILY!!!) This is so ANNOYING and indicates a crapy product. Hope Microsoft reads this and improves it's products, but I doubt it.

Sorry to inform you that yes vista DOES have that many damn updates its not surprising though becos any crappy and hastily written code programmed into an os will almost always need follow-up updates to solve new issues.Vista and windows 7 are schemes microsuck plotted and implemented in their attempt to regain their once tight fisted momopoly on technology in the software sector of computers.I myself feel your pain as I once had similar issues which are now gone due to kicking microsuck and windows to the curb and joining the apple imac nation peace and have a happy day
