Windows Vista Update

Why won't my sims 2 work on the windows vista???

I had installed sims2 and sims 2 seasons on my vista and they were working great but when i went to install others, they just wont run.

When i click on the shortcut or even go in the taskbar to click on sims it just says that the launcher has been changed or moved so the shortcut wont work!

What am i supposed to do about it??
