Will the Sims Livin Large work on windows vista?

i just recently purchased The Sims and its expansion pack Livin Large and i tried to install it but i wasnt sure if it would work so at the first sign of trouble i stopped installing because this isnt my computer and i dont want to break it.
will The Sims and Livin Large work on my Vista HP?? i REALLY wanna play my game...
