That error message comes back as: 80240038 WU_E_WINHTTP_INVALID_FILE The downloaded file has an unexpected content type. Try the following. NOTE: Make sure that all of the commands are entered 'exactly' as shown, including the spaces. 1. Click Start/All Programs/Accessories. Right click 'Command Prompt' and select 'Run As Administrator'. Click 'Continue' on the UAC prompt. Leave the command prompt window open until you are done with these steps. a. Stop the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and the Automatic Updates service.
