I Hope u didnt expect that the 64 bit version would be FASTER, like you said here in the blog.
A 64 Bit OS will NOT be faster, the diffrence is in the memory.

If linux had the supporting third party programs to burn dvds I wouldn't even have windows...mac os is even worse..if you like vista it's because you never tried Ubuntu linux....over 18 months without ever freezing or even hanging up for more than a few seconds...there's a reason 9 out of 10 of the worlds top super computers run linux based os!!

Hey thanks, I really found your post helpful. I was shopping for a new laptop today and wondered why virtually ALL the laptops on sale were the 64-bit ones. The deals were very tempting, but I, like you, have older programs and hardware that I NEED to use. This new "wonder" called 64-bit Vista is not for all of us, obviously. I have a Vista-32 desktop that I'm relatively happy with and which I need to replace with a laptop due to mobility reasons.
