windows vista update error code 646

What can I do to solve this problem?
Everytime I am installing updates on my computer, I constantly receive the error code 646, and as a result, all of the updates that were supposed to be installed are failed.
What can I do to resolve this problem?
I currently have 8 failed updates due to this error code 646.
