this is what i have found

the only thing i have found is in your run window typing in sfc/scannow and then trying to update apparently this is working for other people. and is worth a try. it didnt work for mine however

I found a solution on the forum somewhere, but can't find the link. Anyway,
all you have to do is type sfc /scannow in the run textbox, then go and
update windows.

This solved my problem, hopefully it solves yours.
