Windows Vista Update

Wireless mouse deactivates screensaver function

We recently installed Vista, and our screensaver function doesn't work.

We've read online that a possible solution is to install a particular Windows update, but the "Windows update" icon on our computer says we're current with all updates.

Is there an update that will correct the problem, and if so, what is the link? If there isn't, any other ideas?
