same here. i got so frustrated and just shut down my computer. I cannot connect to a wireless network with my Vista laptop. damn. Now I wish that I didn't make the switch. XP was better.

 my friend needed to connect twice

first you need the proper windows vista drivers for your wireless than you may need to connect twice through the software with your wireless than through windows connect wizard or whatever its called...
